Saving lives since 1990!

Welcome to Safe Driving For Teens!

Check out my new hit singles "Behind The Wheel!" AND "Whatcha Gonna Do"

In 1982 while working as the Computer Aided Instruction Manager for Edmonds Community College, Dennis received that dreaded phone call that his 5 year old son was killed by an impaired driver. This tragic event was the catalyst that was the catalyst that caused Dennis to want to be the change that he wanted to see on the roadways and to becomming one of the most dynamic multiple award winning international advocate expert speakers on safe driving at highway traffic safety conferences, high schools and leadership conferences!

Unfortunately this wasn’t the only family member Dennis lost, in 2005 his 19 year old niece and unborn child was pushed out of a moving vehicle by her boyfriend who had been drinking.

Sadly on September 21st 2015 Little Dennis' mom was involved in a collision and later passed away that same day.

Dennis is very passionate on the subject of saving student’s lives whether it’s DUI, Text Messaging, Seat Belt Use, eating, smoking, aggressive driving, rolling through stop signs, running red lights, road rage or other forms of Distracted Driving.

Dennis is a national inspirational speaker who's rap sheet is almost unbelievable! He is the President of Dennis Mitchell Empowerment Seminars, former Host and Executive Producer for Choices with Dennis Mitchell TV Talk Show. He is also a featured contributing author of the Chicken Soup for the African American Soul from the New York Times best selling Chicken Soup Series and also a co-author for the top selling book Pre-TEEN POWER. Dennis’ new book "Yes You Can Succeed" is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2016. Dennis is truly one of the superstars of inspiration!
